Six of Wands & The Pink Full Moon

Oh, this amazing energy we are currently swirling in for the Pink Full Moon! At times pushing us near the brink with it’s intensity, yet offering us the opportunity to shed more layers so we can slide into more empowered versions of ourselves.

First off - migraines, anyone? Full Moons usually exacerbate migraines in me, and this one is no exception. The energy is pouring into cracks and crevices, pushing out of us with inflamed vigor. There is no hiding this time around. But there is, of course, the choice to lean into this full moon potential or not.

Should you choose to work with this energy, you are given the opportunity to work through the traumas that hold us back from stepping into our “Six of Wands” power. This Pink Full Moon is about allowing yourself to be seen! Allowing yourself to be recognized and given credit where credit is due. We are invited to open ourselves up to more success, tapping into our drive and willpower so we can propel forward with our manifestations.

Six of Wands Tarot Card

The Six of Wands asks you to hold your head up high. Higher! Don’t let anyone make you feel as though you are unworthy of success and recognition. You are an authority in your field - and the authority of your own life. This Full Moon is reminding you that YOU are the one in the driver’s seat, and you have more than enough under your belt to arrive at your next destination with style and flash.

Confidence exudes from you when you embody the Six of Wands. You pave the way for others to follow, and they do, because they can feel just how empowered you are. They trust you because you have paid your dues and are unapologetic for who you are. They know that you know what needs to be done and how to do it.

I asked my spirit team what is holding us back from fully embracing this state of being. With the Three of Swords and the Hierophant I was shown that we may be holding onto old fears of authority that cause hesitation when it comes to allowing ourselves to speak our truth. This stems back to past lives, current alternate timelines and traumas from this life. In this instance, for this Pink Full Moon, much of the trauma blocking us is connected to the traditions, false beliefs and limitations put upon us by our family patterns. Lines of our ancestors into today that contributed to us feeling as though we are not meant to be seen or heard, that it was safer to be silent.

The Six of Swords asks us to let go of these old patterns that were imposed upon us. Drop them, one by one, to lessen your energetic and emotional load. The more you move through these cords, entanglements, grids, spells and indoctrinations born of fear and preservation, the more you free yourself up to be more of yourself. To be YOU without apology, shame or guilt.

We are encouraged to grieve the old parts of us, letting out the old energies and emotions that have been laying dormant, stuck within us. Crying, yelling, moving our bodies around as we say, “farewell.” Goodbye to all of the times we were scared to speak up, afraid to be seen, hesitant to be recognized because part of us felt unsafe, or full of shame or guilt that we could not even understand.

The Six of Wands reminds us that this power we hold is ours, and ours alone. We are worthy. We are safe. We deserve to be known and to make our mark in this life. Our contributions carry weight and make a difference. These gestures translate across all aspects of our life, as simply living in our truth is enough to leave a lasting impression.

Repeat to yourself when you need a reminder:

It is safe for me to be seen.

It is safe for me to be known.

It is safe for me to be fully in my power.
